Originally from the U.K. we have lived in Southern California since 1979. We enjoy hiking in the Santa Monica Mountins and surrounding ranges, mainly by ourselves but occasionally with the Sierra Club. With a daughter in San Francisco and a son in San Diego, we also take the opportunity to hike in Marin and San Diego counties when possible. Recent trips further afield include the Sequoias, Bryce Canyon, Zion, the South Coast of England and the Torres Del Paine area of Patagonia.
